Biography
Douglas is a violinist and multi-instrumentalist based in London. His work spans a broad range of genres and styles, from on-stage theatrical performances to orchestral and session work.
As a theatre performer he has other complimentary performance skills. These include viola and mandolin doubles, working as an assistant musical director, conducting, and extensive experience performing onstage in costume, including movement and speaking roles.
He has experience collaborating and creating shows with artists and theatre producers. His recent work with artist John Costi required him to write underscore and additional music for the artist’s performance art work ‘Bapou’s Bubbles’ at Somerset house.
In addition to theatrical performance he has worked for many years both as a session musician and with some of the UK’s leading orchestras.
